Wennmacher Family | A foggy early morning session in LeClaire, Iowa

Sometimes just taking a walk on the main strip in your town is the perfect location for a photo session! At least it was for the Wennmacher’s in LeClaire, Iowa. I have always loved the look of this little Iowa town. So when Kristyna told me they were moving there and wanted to do pictures in their new stomping grounds, I was really excited to make it happen!

We were shooting for a sunrise session, but the day’s weather had other plans for us. We ended up with super thick fog instead, but it ended up being just as pretty in a totally different way! I really love the softness it adds to a lot of their images. It made for some gorgeous, misty Sunday morning portraits. Here are just some of my favorites so far!
