Lexi + Austin | A last minute engagement session at the Barn at Brophy Creek in DeWitt, Iowa

Doing an engagement session the day before the wedding may not have been the most conventional of things, but boy did it work out great! Lexi and Austin contacted me last year about booking me for their Fall 2019 wedding. With the groom being in the military, everything was a little up in the air. You just never know when the call will come and he has to pack up and go. And not only that, but Lexi is from Wisconsin, so as you can probably imagine, not being local to the wedding location added more challenges when it came to making plans. Knowing they wouldn’t make it to the area until the day before the wedding, Lexi thought, how about we get a few shots before rehearsal?! And I totally agreed that it would be a great idea! I got to do some location scouting and finally met this beautiful couple! It was a quick session so they could back to decorating and practicing for the big day, but we got some gorgeous shots!
