The Van Scoys / a fun extended family session in their beautiful backyard

Just like so many families, these guys went far too long apart and decided to document the occasion when they could finally get together this summer! Children grow way too quickly so grandma and grandpa were overjoyed to have everyone at their home here in Clinton, Iowa over the weekend.

Even better, they have a gorgeous backyard so we didn’t even have to leave! To finish the session off, they brought out some bubbles and had a good time with the littles. It was such a simply fun session with lots of smile and laughs, and just a few tears… because, ya know, toddlers. :) The second-to-last crying shot is honestly one of my favorites though!
