Katelyn + Alex / a rustic engagement session at Heritage Canyon in Fulton, IL

I can’t even put into words just how sweet these two are! They so clearly care about one another to the core. Katelyn told me that she knew right away when she met Alex that he was her person. They went on their first date in Galena, walking around and talking for 11 hours… yes, 11 hours! They obviously never wanted to say goodbye once they said hello. Some distance between them didn’t stop their love from blossoming and Alex popped the question at one of Katelyn’s favorite places, an art museum. As if it couldn’t get any sweeter, he proposed with her mother’s ring in a ring box he made himself.

There are some couples I meet that just have something so special and undeniable, and these two have that. The engagement session was fun, but I really can’t wait to capture the beautiful memories sure to be made at their wedding this September!
