The Tylers / a Family of Five at Sylvan Island in Moline, Illinois

We figured out that it’s been four years since I last saw the Tyler family! Niah was finishing her last year of middle school and now she’s finishing her last year of high school, Jack went from being shorter than his sister to taller than…well, the rest of the family! I remember Rowan being quite the little character back then and.. yeah okay, he still is! He’s so funny and I just love how much he adores his older siblings.

They chose Sylvan Island for their family session because 1) it’s gorgeous there and 2) it has special meaning for their family. As we walked I enjoyed hearing them talk about spending time there when the older two were little and they’ve gone back many times over the years to fish, hike and bike ride. It was my first time being at the island and I will definitely be back again, whether it’s to take more pictures or just spend time with my own little family!
