Kenzie + Jarrett / an Oak Hill Farm wedding in Apple River, Illinois

When Kenzie first contacted me about her and Jarrett’s Oak Hill Farm wedding, I was so excited at the opportunity to visit a new-to-me venue! Especially one this unique and beautiful! We actually met for the first time at the farm so we could all check it out and take engagement photos while they were in the area. And now they had their dream wedding on an absolutely perfect Friday evening in June. I do not believe they could not have asked for more beautiful weather. What a gorgeous day it was!

Grandma was prepared with a sewing kit just in case. And let me tell you, weddings will throw many curveballs your way (including tears in dresses!) but she was ready for this one!

This is such a cute idea! The schoolhouse at Oak Hill Farm was filled with photos of Kenzie and Jarrett throughout their childhoods and dating years. What a perfect backdrop for their memories!

I love that they thought of bug spray…

We got engagement pictures with the donkeys so I’m glad we could come full circle and capture their cuteness on the wedding day too! Thanks for the photo-op Earl! (I think that’s his name…)
