Amie + Will / a summer engagement session at Wildcat Den in Muscatine, Iowa

After a few convos with Amie, we came up with a plan to capture an adventurous sunset engagement session at Wildcat Den State Park in Muscatine, Iowa. It wasn’t too far of a trek for me and even closer for them, so the location was perfect. I’ve been there one other time but it was years ago, so it felt fresh and new again (always exciting)!

As much as we adored the park, it didn’t take long to realize there wasn’t a handy spot with open sky, which we obviously needed to capture the sunset. So after outfit one was finished we just headed in a direction until we found what we were looking for... and that ended up being a really cool old barn with a grassy field! Maybe it was meant to be!

Getting to know these two (and their sweet doggy) was a true joy.
