Kelsay + Luke / an engagement session full of laughter and stolen kisses

I have so many people ask me when is the best time for an engagement session and the answer is, it’s different for everyone. If you want to use the photos for save-the-dates, get it booked right away. Otherwise, whenever you want! Kelsay and Luke had theirs just over a month before their big day and that works great too because the practice will be fresh in their minds. No wrong answer here!

You never know what you’ll get in July, but it was an absolutely perfect evening for an engagement session! Kelsay and Luke met me at the Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Clinton, Iowa and we enjoyed an hour of wandering around the grounds capturing some sweet moments while these two soak up the last month and a half of engaged-life!

These two are naturals in front of the camera, whether they thought they would be or not. They truly enjoyed each others company and just stuck to being themselves and laughing together. Despite the fun, we did get some romantic shots in there too!
